HI! I'm a seasoned writer and editor in Los Angeles with a Master’s in Journalism from New York University. I love reading, very hot coffee, pancakes, being active and using too many em-dashes. And lists, clearly.

As a freelance writer, I generally cover health + fitness, food and culture; you can see all my bylines here. The through-line for all of my writing is the idea that life is messy, and often — if not always — talking it out helps. I also write a lot about grief, which I’m passionate about normalizing.

Additionally, I currently write a weekly newsletter called So Many Somethings, where we talk about community and grief and feelings — that sorta thing. Think of it like the online version of a coffee date with your best friend. I started it in fall 2020 as a creative outlet, shortly after unexpectedly losing my mom.

In my day job, I’m editorial lead for a Fortune 100 company. This includes being the executive editor of the employee magazine, which is a quarterly print publication and an internal, digital storytelling platform. The magazine reaches the company’s 95,000+ employees as well as an external audience.

As a writer and content creator, I got my start in blogging during the hey-day of health living bloggers; I was the blogger behind the now-shuttered healthy living blog On a Pink Typewriter, which was live from 2010 through ~2015; content featured personal essays and collaborations with food, fitness, and travel brands (e.g., ClassPass, Kia, Peanut Butter and Co., Sara Lee, and the Fit Foodie Run race series). The site received ~10,000 views per month. I was voted one of Washington, D.C.'s top fitness bloggers by Washingtonian Magazine in 2012, and served as race ambassador for the 2016 OC Marathon and Half Marathon  and the Cooking Light/Health Magazine Fit Foodie Race in San Diego (2015 + 2016).
